Day 131 – Knee Injuries

I haven’t been running for a few weeks now. Knee injuries kept getting in my way. I was able to resolve the first knee injury with exercises and acupuncture and then another one started. The 2nd injury (well I thought it was an in jury) really freaked me out. I was starting to think that I had really injured myself, turns out that wasn’t the case. When I saw my acupuncturist the other day and told her about my new problem she chuckled. Turns out my new knee problem was all because my left ass muscle is weak.

I find this quite ridiculous. I was getting worried that I would need to have knee surgery one day and in the end my bumb muscles are weak!

I’ve been doing some ass strengthening exercises and already I’m noticing a difference. No knee problems. I am quite relieved that it wasn’t something serious and I am stoked about the idea of starting running again.

Hopefully I can get a few runs in this weekend.
